Nautilus uniform is out – vintage chore jackets I curated all the way from France!
Each jacket is unique, carrying the story of the craftsman who wore it before them. It's up to the proteges to give them a new story now, through the mastery of their own craft.
For this merch, I was inspired by @dieworkwear's threads on wearing fashion that's culturally relevant. The "bleu de travail" (French workwear) speaks to me not just because I'm French – it's a garment that's been loved by vintage connoisseurs for the last decade, and that in itself connects Nautilus to a broader cultural appreciation for beauty, utility, and style that endures.
More importantly, one of the things I aim to model at Nautilus is that the real work of building something ambitious lies in the mundane tasks we show up for every day. These jackets were worn by blacksmiths and other tradespeople committed to being useful to society and driving progress forward. In this way, each protégé is now part of that lineage – one that stretches back generations – and is invited to carry it into the future through the bold, meticulous, and unglamorous work that makes great things possible.
Each jacket is customized with a patch bearing the protege’s name on the front, and our logo on the back – a symbol of the hero’s journey we all embark on at Nautilus, from setting out into the unknown to returning transformed, ready to contribute to the world.
this space may look quiet now, but on Saturday afternoon we’ll fill it with life for our “Amber Hours - Night Market & Soiree” ✨

AI makes it much easier to learn a subject deeply fast.
Went from absolute zero to matching with the nation’s leading analytical chemist on some tasks after a two week grind.
It still takes work, but you can go deep faster with the right approach
The builder journey has wild highs and crushing lows.
What makes all the difference is having a group that always has your back, believes in you, and throws you opportunities when you need them most.
I honestly think creativity and originality come from knowing that kind of support is always there, no matter what.
Thank you, @zeldapoem, for building @nautilusquest and creating that group for us proteges.
