@cvkrishnan Designing a VLCC is not a major task, VLGCs are. Only because of integration of Gas tanks with hull. At least they can start with a JB and then improve. Unlike PSUs who can’t design even a FPV on their own. Despite getting ToT for Submarines.

@anandmahindra Sir India is capable of doing same however, our yards lacks optimum crane capacity. Which restricts the size of each block and increases the building time. We are doing same at a smaller scale at most of our shipyards.
