just wanted to pop in and give a shoutout to @saba_khalilnaji (@almond_robotics).
shared a specific feedback with them at 9:30pm and they shipped an update by 11:30pm. on a sunday. over a long weekend.
big fan of the team and the product.
uber’d the final package for this order.
it was close to 100 parts for 30+ designs.
these parts will bring two new robots to life.
going to take the learnings from this, streamline the process and support more hardware teams.
me early in the week:
> i need to get more orders.
me waking up on saturday morning:
> shit! i’m booked solid all of next week.

we’re building 🏭 factories that never sleep.
weekend activities include
- making parts ✅
- inadvertently inhaling coolant fumes ✅
- finding emergency diesel refueling trucks to get the generator topped up. ✅
- even more parts ⏳
didn’t even log in here for a few months now - it was peaceful to be frank.
turned on the firehose today, but the new timeline looks sane compared to when I left.
lots to catch up on and update about.
Friendly reminder that you don’t actually have to run heavy AI workloads on the laptop in your hands
You can just Tailscale / SSH into a machine with an RTX PRO 6000 somewhere else
Your battery, thermals, fans, and lap will appreciate that arrangement
been struggling to finish any of my long form drafts. diagnosed what my issue was. it’s the text editor. I don’t like any of them.
so I’m doing the only logical thing to solve this by building my own markdown editor.
maybe the first post back should be about this.
spent the last two days putting together a massive list (over 40,000) of all machine and fab shops in the us.
176 columns now.
additionally a separate list with 38,000+ warehouses and 231 columns.
the scrapping will continue until morale improves.
