44 year old Patnala Suresh, from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh was the Chief Engineer of MT Settebello which was attacked by the US at the Strait of Hormuz.
Patnala Suresh was among the three Indian who were killed. He is a Telugu man. His family is awaiting answers.
Telugu media and the leaders are playing dumb. Not even a condolence from the big guys who took oath to protect the people of Andhra.
They are all awaiting orders from PM Narendra Modi who is still busy celebrating being the longest serving PM of “Independent India”. Once he finds time to tweets or releases a condolence statement, then all the Andhra Pradesh leaders will, I guess.
Wonder where the Telugu pride is hiding 🙏🏽
24th of June will be 15th wedding anniversary of Suresh and Bhargavi.
Suresh was desperate to come back home. Currently the family is awaiting this body.
Suresh is survived by two sons aged 13 years and 10 years.
@revathitweets These are governments for the filthy rich by the filthy rich to the filthy rich. Nothing more. Nothing less. They don’t care about anything else.
To minimize anti-BJP stance to just Muslim question in itself is so problematic. It is much bigger than that - its is about political decency, morality, states’ rights, federalism, welfare just to name a few. If DMK does align with BJP again (as it did during the 1999-2004 period that included the Gujarat pogrom of 2002), it might as well close shop forever. That will be the end of DMK. Of course is Congress is crooked. But BJP is far worse with no scruples at all.
This is true. However, the Dravidian parties should have never allied with BJP in the first place. Particularly DMK’s 5-year stint with NDA including at the time of Gujarat pogrom in 2002 has rendered them suspect. They will have to carry the weight of that misjudgment which has become fodder for their current opponents. Only time will tell how they will withstand
@revathitweets Time and again he has proven to be inept. Forcibly being projected as capable. Unless the public appearance is stage managed, he cannot make an impact.
@revathitweets Tragedy is that he thinks he did something commendable by comparing it with war zones created by imperialists and genocidal regimes. The ignorance levels are laughable! And this person is the CM pick of @RahulGandhi and @priyankagandhi !!
@JrPeriyar సిద్ధరామయ్య definitely great. కానీ Rahul Gandhi lacks that vision. Look at his CM choices - Revant Reddy for Telangana, a state where OBC must be a CM. Look at Andhra Pradesh - a state where Congress is down and out and his choice was Y S Sharmila Reddy. Disgrace.
To clear the air first, Modi is not a strong leader. But neither is Rahul Gandhi.
Definition of strong is to stand by your allies through thick and thin. @RahulGandhi has shown that he abandons his allies such as @mkstalin at the drop of a hat. Even earlier too he orchestrated the political demise of @laluprasadrjd the only ally that stood by Congress over the past three decades all in the name of fighting “corruption”. Now you see the scale of corruption that is rampant all across the country! A leader committed to uprooting the Sangh does not oust the most socialist CM @siddaramaiah from power. A leader dedicated to the upliftment of masses does not choose former ABVP leader Revant Reddy to helm an important state like Telangana. Even in a state that they are down and out such as Andhra Congress chose Y S Sharmila Reddy to head the state until, ironically the sister of their bete noir Jagan Reddy. None of these decisions show strength. They show a complete lack of understanding of the politics of the country. An unmistakable indifference to ground realities.
Apparently, for many, including the Gen Z, Rahul Gandhi is a good man but a weak leader.
What is the definition of strong, may we ask?
A person who is now fully committed to uprooting the rot of the sangh from India is weak.
A person who hit the road for months and walked across the country is weak.
A person who speaks fearlessly every day against the corrupt criminal leaders and industrialists is weak.
A person who is well educated, well mannered, and respectful is weak.
A person who has foretold every failure of the regime years in advance is weak.
A person who genuinely meets people from all strata and listens to them is weak.
A person who heads a party that gives the only viable alternative to the sangh.
So, who is strong?
An online gatherer of handles and maker of memes? Is that the definition of strong?

Excellent article. Thank you for speaking up. South Indian states are more than 90-95% meat-eating. Vegetarianism has nothing to do with kindness. It stems out of an urge to claim distinctness, to “other” the rest. As rightly pointed out, the purported kindness does not extrapolate to fellow humans wilting under the weight of the vegetarian elite.
The popular story is that vegetarianism is rooted in compassion. But this compassion does not extend to the forests being destroyed, and tribes being displaced for mines, industries, and gated communities

The fact is that those conglomerates were beneficiaries of crony capitalism of a different era. To think that they would do anything with the best interests of the people in mind is debatable. Only a country with the interests of its people in mind would invest in fields that would benefit them. That vision comes from a people-centric government such as China.
@prakashraaj@NagaBabuOffl Power-drunk to the core. Arrogant to the hilt. They seem to operate in a silo of their own. It is nakedly evident now that their party exists only to uphold yellow interests!
