I contacted Rapido, got connected to the driver and explained what had happened. Without even questioning me, he immediately asked, “Where should I send the money back?” I gave him my number for GPay.

The moment I reached home, I realised I had paid ₹500 extra. I was in two minds—should I reach out to the driver or just let it go? Eventually, I thought, “Let’s give it a try, without expecting the money back.”

I booked a cab from Prabhadevi to Mulund. After the ride, the driver asked me to pay ₹565. I told him I’d give ₹500 in cash and GPay the remaining ₹65.
By mistake, I GPaid the entire ₹565 and gave him ₹500 cash. 🤦🏻‍♀️
