@83_add@antmiddleton It doesn't have to be armed, just a large boat with the ability to "persuade" the boats to turn back by manouvering in their way and blocking passage.

@antmiddleton 1/2 Ant, as former Lifeboat crew I see both sides of the coin. For clarity I don't agree with the RNLI getting involved in the channel. The govt are currently paying millions to private companies to pick them up so why not just extend that contract for more boats so the RNLI can
@northcamesouth Gaffer tape, either that or Rum are both good answers. But I think you need to resign yourself to binning the shiny brass hooks and go with the ones B suggested. They work really well and would suit your tool selection.
@hughie_go @LizWebsterSBF It's bull. It happened to us last week. The only people who had problems were those without EU / British passports. The rest of us just went through immigration as normal.
