@JohnWQuinn It is an easy read with explanations that non Navy vets and civilians can relate. There seemed to be a change in the Navy way of life after Viet Nam but in the late 70s. I served on the Midway out of Yokosuka and really enjoyed my time and service.

@JohnWQuinn I finished reading your book and I am in awe of what you did, how you did it, and why you did it. I’m not sure I ever could have done it like you did in the Navy.
I loved your book and others should read it. I salute you for your courage and determination.

@chicfryrice @HannahDCox I’m 72. I’m retired. So should all those folks in Washington DC be retired. Anyone not having any open meetings in 2 years should be retired. How can one represent without learning what those that voted for you need? The need of the many outweighs the need of the one.

@SoldiersWhisper God bless all the nurses during Viet Nam. I served with many at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and Letterman. “Just doing their jobs”, these Nurses really had to wait a long time for any recognition about serving in country. Thank you!!!Thank you all!!
