@DrWd40 @Starlink Living in a coastal area, that’s exactly my mindset. I don’t need it for day to day operational items. I might need it occasionally for storm/hurricane impacts. Could use it where cellular service isn’t great. Pre sales customer service causes me to rethink support.

Have decided that buying a @Starlink mini outright, and putting it on a standby mode plan for emergencies is a prudent idea. Couldn’t figure out how to order it on the website, so called their sales number. The agent who answered “never heard of” a standby plan. Then hung up.
