My administration has had to cut down the budget for #education in #ElSalvador. But I have two very good reasons: a loyal #army needs money and my people don't need to #think, I can do it for them.

@thehill I'll give your a recommendation: negotiate under the table. My #presidency did that with the #MS13 and people think we actually defeated them. Of course I had to put someone in jail, so I asked my police to capture people at random so that the stunt looks real. It worked well.

@POTUS In #ElSalvador my government was very practical. We negotiated under the table with #MS13 and then said we defeated them. But someone had to go to jail, so we had to put 70,000 people in prison. I don't know if they're guilty or not, but someone had to pay.
