@ZeMariaMacedo@CryptoHarry_@FatManTerra Really agree with Harry. I feel many wouldn’t fill out the forms even if it had a huge impact on their lives. On chain data makes more sense to me - maybe a partial refund for most smallest wallets or something like this. I get it’s not easy to see how to best do this.
@HappyCatKripto Yes good question. With that kind of volume they should be able to manipulate market price pretty easily though. All of this seems very thought out. Who’s created this map and this strategy and where will it go?
@HappyCatKripto@TheYTRabbit@binance@kucoincom I am not 100% sure about this. But it would make no sense for exchanges to move actual user coins between on exchange accounts. It would slow everything. They just move numbers until you withdraw. At least that would make sense to me.
@HappyCatKripto@TheYTRabbit@binance@kucoincom I believe that’s why some exchanges (like I experienced on gate is) sometimes stop withdrawals of certain assets because they don’t actually hold enough liquidity for the amount of withdrawals happening after purchasing inside their exchange
@HappyCatKripto@TheYTRabbit@binance@kucoincom I don’t think these are customer burns. But I agree with the point that my binance account doesn’t actually HOLD my coins. On exchange we literally trade IOUs and when I withdraw that’s when my coins are issued back to me.
@HappyCatKripto Could be interesting to track the purchases in an excel (on their own). With purchases and burns happening in tandem, it can seem that total remains “steady”, but would be seriously interesting to get a sense of how much of the dip they buy. Is that possible to chart?
@HappyCatKripto@THORmaximalist Yeah I’ve heard some others say the same in regards to burns. There’s a popularity around burning that’s not necessarily well thought out (but it’s def popular). Tbh, I would go with those who have deeper knowledge and experience to see what’s best here.
@HappyCatKripto Do you have a sense of why MEXC & Binance (as well as the unidentified 3rd exchange) would be using some of the same wallets to send to Burn? Means it's coordinated somehow? Otherwise wouldn't it be totally unrelated wallets?? Any thoughts @HappyCatKripto
