@NickHiggy4@Re_Spawn81@bolluxio Was having this chat with people the other day. Billionaires in even recent years gone by (Rockefeller, Bloomberg, Gates) used to build society and create shared things for all. Today they just want to go to space
@JaiP72@Billie_T Yeah fair play, numbers are ok but eye test, when you actually watch him play he looks a bit awkward? Played well last night granted. Still think it's no real upgrade on Solanke ability wise (if he can stay fit etc). I don't know who I want up front is the truth
@JaiP72@SportsFinance I wouldn't sell, I don't think we will, but the new manager has already signed (is signing) 2 other CBs, and he wasn't here when Vuskovic was around. He doesn't *really* fit de zerbis passing. I'm just saying I wouldn't be totally shocked
@SportsFinance@JaiP72 Unless he's refusing a new deal because he can't see a route to first team football? Let's see what happens. I think he'll stay but who knows, stranger things have happened
@JerseySpur5@fatfums They really do. I think probably part of it is we don't have anything to offer them corruption wise. They're all pissed off at how much power the Premier League has
@CG10192837@Block13Gooner@henrywinter Yep for sure. FIFA are corrupt as anything, but I won't be told $500 average ticket price for the group stage is a good deal, as Infantino is implying. That's half my season ticket in the PL!
@CG10192837@Block13Gooner@henrywinter Absolutely, but this is a global event. There are 7 million tickets available - this isn't a final series with 4 home games. There was no need to make group stage matches this price, and to offer so few tickets to the actual fans of the nations competing. It's still way too much
@Block13Gooner@henrywinter I happen to be in the US for a work trip when we're playing, and I thought it might be fun to go to the game whilst I'm over. $1,700 for tickets, hotels, and transport later....no thanks
@stumpyspurs To an extent. He's a manager/coach. It isn't his job to know 2nd division Brazilian players who can make an impact. If he isn't alerted to them, he can't decide if he wants them
Rumour is Lange hadn't even heard of Rayan who went to Bournemouth! Levels of incompetence if true
@stumpyspurs No absolutely!! Give the man exactly what he wants no questions asked.... Although I'd maybe draw the line at me and you π
I will say, Lange hasn't earned that trust and he's still in charge of the strategy. Think reasonable questions
