@tomtrina0929 You know what they’ve offered? Again, it’s been reported a 3rd team is needed. Not to mention I doubt you have watched any Yurov or Stramel. Also it’s been reported he’d approve Dallas and Vegas.
@andrewkeck You said if Minnesota had what SY wanted, the deal would be done. So apply that logic to all teams in the running for Larkin, if that deal existed it would be done. When there needs to be a 3rd team involved, conditions can change by the minute
@tomtrina0929@andrewkeck No doubt, but that’s the base of the argument. SY has to decide if he wants to take the best offer from the teams Larkin will waive his NMC for or let it linger with organizational impacts.
@tomtrina0929@andrewkeck That is all true. This affects the organization as a whole letting this drag on. People are starting to overvalue Larkin at this point, he’s a 2C on most teams. We shall see what happens.
@tomtrina0929@andrewkeck Agreed on the value. But in the Dorofeyev trade Vegas got the 26th pick and a 2028 first that won’t be great. In the Tkachuk trade 2 of the picks weren’t worth much either, 25th this year and a 2029 first that won’t be a high pick.
@tomtrina0929@andrewkeck A team that’s wanted to push their rebuild and want the draft capital. Also, different scouting personal are higher on certain players than others.
