In 2012, I was 30 years old and 100lbs overweight.
Over the last 11 years I have lost 100lbs and kept it off. Now I help other people achieve the same success
Here’s the 10 step framework I used to lose the weight and keep it off and how you can too!
Finally read it this year and was blown away.
The determination of the men to survive was incredible.
Great book to read for a different reaction to similar situation is The Wager by David Grann.
Really shows how different group dynamics and leadership tactics impact a situation
About 100 pages into this fantastic book by Erik Larson. Tremendous true story of an American family’s experience in Germany during the first year of Hitler’s reign.
Highly recommend both this book and his book The Splendid and the Vile if you want a non fiction book that reads like fiction.
@AJA_Cortes Arguing on the internet is even more pointless than arguing in person.
You aren’t going to convince anyone to actually change their mind, especially by being shitty.
Post your beliefs, support them with evidence and ignore the people talking shit.
Live your life.
Reading these books back to back has been such a cool look at how differently two groups of people can respond to similar circumstances.
Shackleton’s crew banded together even when everything seemed totally hopeless while the crew of The Wager completely fell apart and started warring under arguably slightly better conditions.
10/10 recommend both books. Even better when read together.
@AJA_Cortes Agree with all of this except I had excellent results at just .5mg a week for the first 3 weeks.
I then titrated up to .5mg twice a week for a few weeks which was fantastic.
Slowly have worked my way up to 1mg twice a week.
Zero side effects and tremendous benefits.
@FitWealthyU This is exactly why I have every client I work with track for at least a few weeks.
You can’t possibly know your calorie intake if you don’t track for awhile.
It is like never looking at your expenses and income and expecting to manage your finances properly.
@zeay66@FoundersPodcast Great decision. The only one I haven’t read yet in the Benjamin Franklin book and it’s next on my list.
Walter Isaacson is an incredible writer
@MMAWeeklycom Not sure why it was controversial, Dern won the striking every round. Sure Virna took her down but she didn’t do anything with it.
Thought it was a pretty clear win for Dern
@uncrownedcombat@arielhelwani Heavyweight division is cooked. No real contenders right now. Fuck it, let Alex move up and fight the winner of Aspinal/Gane
