@ShamsCharania Happy to see him go somewhere that has the timeline for him to grow as a coach.
Portland needs someone with better substitutions/rotations and offensive scheme.
@503Blazerfans 29/7/5 perennial All-Star, All-NBA second team, and recent finals MVP. Under contract for 3 more seasons.
Yet a bunch of Blazers fans who want to see us gamble on draft picks that won’t come close to as good as him.
He literally would be a top-5 player in team history.
@Jaybirdmonster@BrettSiegelNBA Would also be logic in waiting for a deal to be completed after the draft and new league year starts, as it opens up some picks for teams to deal. Probably reported before but completed then.
@503sBest@N3WJ3RAM1@Dame_Time1023 Deni played a lot of point forward this year, would be pretty nice to see him run the break with Giannis at times.
Dame / Jrue / Deni / Giannis / Clingan
Could be a fun group that matches up pretty well with OKC and SAS. Add a nice MLE bench piece for once too.
@KingCrab1984@Dame_Time1023@503sBest Well yeah, Giannis is consistently a top-5 player for nearly the last decade. He’s also played >70 games once in the last 7 years.
Avdija is 6 years younger, cheap contract, and an improving All-Star. Nice 2nd option on a contender, which is likely the hope with pairing w/ GA
@Perrywinkle1267@Baldg0d@philfanacc That’s if they release every players cap hold too, and then still couldn’t spend that on 1 player because there are cap holds for a couple open roster spots. It’s also less than the MLE, so they’ll just use that unless they’re dumping Fox, Vassell, or Johnson.
@TheDunkCentral If he had the money, he wouldn’t ever get approved with his gambling problems and lack of consistent cash flow required to be an owner. The team valuations have jumped significantly in recent years, his career earnings wouldn’t come remotely close to being a majority owner now.
2 games in his career over 40pts and he wants to talk like he’s an elite scorer after the whole team fed him shots against the Wizards?? Didn’t even shoot 50% from the field in the 83pt game.
Just obnoxious
@scowo99@blazersedge He has 2 games above 20 minutes this season, another 6 at 20, and 18 games missed. Can’t play back-to-backs and can’t play starter minutes when Clingan is injured. How much do you pay that guy for 16 minutes per game?
@TheDunkCentral@GetUpESPN Terrible comparison. Paolo is much more fluid and better handles (while settling for stupid ass shots), while Boozer relies more on footwork and touch in the paint
@TheDunkCentral@BenGolliver Fire Silver and get a commissioner with a spine who cares about the game.
The NBA never should have associated themselves with sports betting.
@DSchoenborn6@march_mazness@parlay_wade15@FeelLikeDrew If you watch the video, it’s pretty obvious he’s not talking about Atlanta’s wings because he’s going to a party. Doesn’t take knowing his personal life to see that.
@march_mazness@parlay_wade15@FeelLikeDrew I mean they’re 6th in the West, could easily be knocked out in the first round. He’s probably seeing the Celtics at 2nd in the East with Brown and thinking he could take Atlanta to the same heights. Obviously a huge lifestyle preference for him in Atlanta too
@march_mazness@parlay_wade15@FeelLikeDrew That definitely makes sense for a sooner visit, but doesn’t really make sense in context of mentioning the wings in Atlanta though.
I’d prefer he stays in Minnesota and they move to the Eastern Conference with the expansion in a couple years.
