@michael_nielsen A question: interface between what? The question seems a bit vague, if I may be so bold. Interface between classical and quantum programs? Interface between quantum programs? All the way to software APIs for (quantum) hardware access?
Interest in quantum computing is often justified by faster-than-classical quantum algorithms. But in classical computing, algorithms are just a small part of the picture. Interfaces are (at least) as important, for instance. What would a better-than-classical-interface look like?
@Ray_O_Johnson It appears that it is easier to stop people from doing something than it is to make them do the same. And they are not helping my shaming women who choose to delay marriage as being leftovers. And from what I read, childcare isn't exactly affordable either.
I’m always amazed at how much you learn just by going through the motions of calculations and re-writing everything. The simple act of writing, even if it feels like copying, forces you to mull over everything, and the kinesthesia of it reinforces memory and understanding.

@nick_farina The death curve will be steep and long unless there is an ecosystem of hardware and software to work on industry problems and use cases feverishly. The US national academy report on quantum computing makes a compelling case for fostering this ecosystem now.
