NBG welcomed former Sumay residents and their descendants to the Back to Sumay Day event on NBG May 9. More than 250 people attended the event which featured a Mass, fiesta luncheon, live performances, a historical display and tours. This year marked the 14th year of the event.

Santa had some help during the 11th annual Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) Guam Kid’s Christmas Shopping event held Dec. 6. More than 150 children and teens attended the annual event, which allows for them to shop through the NMCRS Thrift Shop.
Naval Base Guam (NBG) was aglow during the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Tree Lighting Festival Dec. 6. The NBG Chapel field was decorated with the holiday tree for an enchanting display of lights. It was truly a one-of-a-kind event of holiday lights and cheer!

Families and shoppers gathered at the NEX Guam Main Store to watch the 2025 Back-to-School fashion show, Aug. 16. NEX Guam coordinated the event as a way to display different clothing styles, for all ages, available at the exchange.

Chief Selectees from NBG were fitted for their new new uniforms and combination covers at the Navy Exchange (NEX) Guam Uniform Shop, Aug. 13. While selectees were fitted for their new uniforms, they will not be able to wear their new rank until promoted in a ceremony next month.

The 81st Liberation Day parade was held on Marine Corps Drive, from Adelup to Chamorro Village July 21. Dozens of marching units and floats were part of the parade including NBG and its tenant commands. Thousands of residents lined Route 1 to watch the parade event.
