As an artist, when you play a character, you try to bring it to life from the bottom of your heart. And here, I am truly impressed by the conviction with which the struggle of a powerful man has been portrayed.

Maybe the plot and driving characters are not on the usual track on which most films travel, but that doesn’t mean the track is wrong. The effort that goes into telling a story, and the journey it takes from being a thought in the mind to becoming a film on screen, is humongous.

@TheNameIsYash sir, hats off to the way you have surrendered yourself to a character and a world that demands a larger-than-life performance. I could clearly feel that in every single scene.

It’s not easy to give the audience an experience of how guilt multiplies and increases the toxicity in life. I stand with you for attempting this daring experiment, sir.

We love you for the love you have for taking Kannada cinema to the global stage.

We've shared the dressing room for so many years and I know how much hard work has gone into everything you've achieved. Your commitment and professionalism have always set you apart.
Congratulations on a wonderful career. Best wishes! @ajinkyarahane88

[Shashi Tharoor @ShashiTharoor]

Sad to acknowledge the reality that @ajinkyarahane88 has called it a day. Hugely talented, immensely capable and utterly reliable, he remains India’s best-ever Test captain, who deserved an extended run in the job after his heroic come-from-behind series win in Australia 2020-21. A gentleman to the core and a reassuring presence in the Indian team, he will be remembered for never having achieved the greatness that was predicted for him in his early days, but his story is much more than one of unfulfilled potential. It is that of a man who left cricket better for his participation in it.

Safe footpaths are essential to a city that puts people first. Through our Safe Footpath Campaign, we are making Namma Bengaluru's streets safer, more accessible and easier to navigate for every pedestrian, while carrying out the drive in a fair and orderly manner.

Over the last three days, we have cleared encroachments from more than 200 km of footpaths across arterial and sub-arterial roads under all five city corporations. I appreciate the dedicated efforts of our officers, civic workers and everyone involved in taking this initiative forward with commitment and care. This is a strong beginning, and we will continue this work with consistency.

Every footpath we reclaim is a step towards a more walkable, accessible and well-planned Bengaluru. We remain committed to creating public spaces that are safe, inclusive and built around the needs of our people.

There are moments in sport that stay with you forever.

Every sacrifice, every setback, every practice session, every cheer from the stands- it all led to that unforgettable night.

Proud to have shared it with an incredible group of people and to have experienced it with millions of Indians around the world.

I really hope I don’t have to do this frequently. But, if officers and contractors do not listen and do their job, unfortunately, I will be forced. I appeal to them to do their job properly.
Today, I happened to observe an asphalt work in progress. I was doubtful of the quality. I asked the Commissioner to inspect this asphalt work. Indeed, the work was found to be substandard. Sadly, officer is suspended and contractor penalised.

From an opponent to a friend over the years. It’s been a pleasure watching you bat and compete against you over so many years but more than that I value our friendship and shared perspectives on the game and beyond. I continue to cherish every time we speak or meet. Wishing you nothing but the best always brother. You’ve done your bit, you deserve to enjoy all of it now and put your feet up. Well done mate, life’s only just begun. ❤️ #KaneWilliamson
