Queensland Fire and Rescue swiftwater teams have been kept busy evacuating people from residences in Ipswich, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane this morning.
They have also been called to multiple cars in floodwater, including at Palmwoods earlier today.
Crews used a drone to locate the vehicles and guide swiftwater crews to them, where they successfully rescued two people.
Please stay well away from swollen creeks and rivers, as rain continues to fall they may rise rapidly. Remember, if it's flooded, forget it.
