@Antbruni18k Moona mentioned that ID is currently understaffed and that a few new managers that speak Indonesian (in addition to Japanese, etc.) would need to be hired, so not yet, though I'd love it personally.
@zombifiedloser A better balance needs to be struck in Part 4. Perhaps the devs could give some of the talents a few bullet points that play into the ending somehow; for instance, Gigi is suggested to start a villain arc, and it would be entirely up to her how it would all play out.
@MidnightMLD@windydanchou footing, in which the introduction of a male VTuber amongst the idol fanbase they'd cultivated would have been seen as quite risky (sadly).
@MidnightMLD@windydanchou completely different fanbases. Hololive was already comprised of a handful of talents before they even debuted an official "Gen". Niji was able to set the Male/Female precedent from the start as the biggest agency in the world at the time, while Hololive was still finding its
@GreatCthulhu420 While I can sympathize with the pressure she must have felt, being the #1 most subscribed Vtuber in the world comes with certain responsibilities whether we like it or not, especially when working under an employer who is signing your checks.
@GreatCthulhu420 For the record, I believe Cover management absolutely needs to get their shit together, but Gura is the worst example someone could use
@GreatCthulhu420 Out of curiosity, what could they have done differently with Gura? She barely streamed her last few years in Hololive and that trend has continued further as Saba; should they have had her not stream at all while still paying her?
@Crownd3ath@TheDarkEnjoyer Management absolutely needs to get their shit together and have for a while, but this does not vindicate Gura in any way; when you show up to work as rarely as she did, you don't really have much of a leg to stand on. The loss of Calli would be much more impactful
@EnzioArgento Then there's the possibility that at least one of them could be in their final months, far away from the goal, and the immense stress they're undergoing manifests on stream; that would be miserable to watch unfold.
@EnzioArgento I hear you. Even if this program does cultivate some serious talent that could still go indie afterward, it may be the case that this experience kills any passion that these girls may have had. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but like you, my faith is very little.
@EnzioArgento I'm not going to make excuses for Cover because I see some serious potential downsides with this, but it's 2 years MAX; if the girls reach the milestone before then (which they ALL could), they will get into Hololive earlier.
@LiamEdward201@aionstelle For instance, you would likely not see any former accomplished voice actresses, or Indie VTubers with strong subscriber numbers end up in a group like this.
@LiamEdward201@aionstelle From what I understand, they'd still have regular auditions for people to get into the main branches; this on the other hand would be for those with potential but little to no experience with Vtubing to learn the craft as they go
