The situation is many parts of Jammu province is quite serious. I’ll be taking the next available flight from Srinagar to Jammu to personally monitor the developing situation. In the mean time instructions have been issued to place additional funds at the disposal of the DCs to cover emergency restoration work and other exigences.

Take a look at our local newspapers - both from Jammu & from Srinagar, English & vernacular. You’ll be able to distinguish the cowards from the ones with guts. The cowards have completely buried the fact that the entire elected government was locked up yesterday along with most elected representatives. The newspapers with some guts have put it on the front page. Shame on the sellouts who buried the story, I hope the size of the envelope was worth it.

Paid my respects & offered Fatiha at the graves of the martyrs of 13th July 1931. The unelected government tried to block my way forcing me to walk from Nawhatta chowk. They blocked the gate to Naqshband Sb shrine forcing me to scale a wall. They tried to physically grapple me but I was not going to be stopped today.

This is the physical grappling I was subjected to but I am made of sterner stuff & was not to be stopped. I was doing nothing unlawful or illegal. In fact these “protectors of the law” need to explain under what law they were trying to stop us from offering Fatiha

In a major achievement my government has got ₹10,600 crores worth of road & tunnel projects approved by the Union Government. I’m grateful to PM @narendramodi ji & Minister @MORTHIndia @nitin_gadkari ji for their continued support as we try to steer J&K on a path of progress, development & connectivity.

The Chief Minister welcomed the approval of key tunnel projects, including the ₹3,330 crore Sadhna Tunnel on NH-701 and the ₹4,786 crore Peer Ki Gali Tunnel on Mughal Road. These projects will ensure all-weather connectivity to remote regions and unlock new avenues for growth and development.

Under the leadership of J&K CM @OmarAbdullah our government has successfully convinced the Government of India to take up key infrastructure projects like the Mughal Road tunnel and the tunnel to Tangdhar.

These are significant achievements that will benefit our people immensely.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sh. @narendramodi ji, and the Hon’ble Union Minister, Sh. @nitin_gadkari ji, for approving projects worth ₹10,637 crore for Jammu & Kashmir.
