Join USAPA Advisory Board member @dhjalcohol this Thursday from 12-2pm for a live Q&A on alcohol policy, advertising, and consumption trends during the holiday season and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to estimates from the International Agency for Research on Cancer, in 2020 alcohol consumption was responsible for almost 40,000 new breast cancer cases in Europe. https://t.co/jUQkGLND1H
The House Committee on Oversight and Reform votes today on whether to remove the more than 80-year prohibition on the shipment of alcohol through mail. Potential harms of alcohol by mail include underage drinking, unregulated alcohol and lost tax revenue. #votenohr2517
@TimMoffitt@JonHardister@TheNCRep The research is clear, alcohol beverage control systems like ours save lives. H890 undermines our system and is bad for North Carolinians. Public health and community wellness over profit, please.

We urge @NC_Governor not to extend cocktails to go. Alcohol consumption during COVID remains high and additional access points are dangerous and unnecessary.
@NC_Governor@NC_Governor agreed, the safety measures are critical. But with hospitals at or nearing capacity allowing cocktails to go and increasing access to alcohol and potentially drinking and driving was the wrong choice. #rescindctg#nogooncocktailstogo
