Watching the additional online videos for our virtual practicum has allowed me to look at a lot of different approaches I would have never seen else wise and has made me begin thinking about which of those approaches I may want to implement in the future. #515Davis

A major challenge to mobile learning in your classroom is the accessibility of the technology for the students. If your school doesn't have the proper technology, or your students don't have access to the technology at home, it could be very difficult to implement. #INDT501
In my assignment, each question is a QR code that the students scan to see the actual question. Then after completing the question, they have to check their answer with the teacher prior to moving to the next question. My questions came from previously released SOLs #INDT501
When creating my assignment, I decided to use QR codes instead of augmented reality because I felt it would lend itself to more breaks for the teacher to aid the students while completing the assignment at hand #INDT501

Another thing that I could do to encourage proper information literacy skills is to encourage the use of databases that are provided by the school to the students. These databases are always great sources for students completing research assignments, while staying safe. #INDT501

(2/2) I do not agree with this at all and feel that knowing the history behind the math you are learning will help the students have a well-rounded math education. That is why I created a project for my future students that will incorporate the history of math. #INDT501
(1/2) While looking for a standard to use in Module Activity #3, I was shocked to find that ZERO math standards include the words "research" or "mathematicians", which shows the history of math isn't considered essential knowledge for high school math students #INDT501

On TinkerCad, I played around with making a stopwatch and for such a simple object to make, it took me a LONG time to understand what I was doing. I still do not have it down 100%, but I am excited to keep learning the software so I am a master by the time I am teaching #INDT501
This module really challenge what I knew about technology and what type of technology I would implement in my classroom. Without this module, I don't think I ever would have implemented the TinkerCad software into a lesson plan, but now I think it is a great option! #INDT501
I chose to highlight VDoE standard AII.7 in my module activity because it highlights functions and I believe that the material would be the best for lending itself to technology and interactive activities. It also had a lot of opportunities to real life connections #INDT501
