What the enemy uses to destroy, God uses to multiply. Are we mature enough in our faith that some of the intensity that we're facing that we would consider it a privilege from the Lord?
It was persecution that scattered the church, the book of Acts. It was a painful moment that was a catalyst to the church spreading the good news of the gospel to other nations.
“They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. ‘Go, stand in the temple courts,’ he said, ‘and tell the people all about this new life.’” - Acts 5:18-20
Christianity started with 120 people in Jerusalem and now has spread to billions of people. This didn't happen on accident. It happened through the power of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and the obedience of just 12 men.
