Hats On Hats Off Plank Challenge with 1st grade. Working on sharing, taking turns, and kindness. One person goes down the row and takes the dome off, next person puts it back on. They were awesome! Thanks @WannaTeachPE #physed
4th: Foot, flip, & catch! Thx @CharterOakPE @physedreview for the idea! Flip cone in air and catch it! Miss? High five next S in line! How many cones can your squad earn? #elempe#physed
“Birdie in the Bucket” or “Turkey in the Fryer” - If birdie lands in hoop = 1 point, hits bucket = 2 pts, lands inside bucket = 3 pts. Students earn popsicle sticks (feathers) for each point scored. Thx @CSpruills_PE @Wellington_Elem @LISDWellness2

💛💙PE Teacher Hack: Throwing💙💛
.
A lot of my younger Ss always struggle with remembering to step with the opposite foot when throwing. I started using snap bracelets and it has worked so well! It gives the Ss a visual when I am not working with them 😄

👻 Ghostbusters👻
Ss are working on rolling in #physed today. Capture the ghost (pin) with the proton stream (hoop) and bring it back to the ghost trap (cone). Most ghosts captured wins.
Thank you, @JHudnallPE, for this balancing activity. My first grade Ss enjoyed collecting “candy” (beanbags) to see which team collected the most. They had to balance the “candy” on the noodle. If they dropped it, they had to start over. @PeaseMustangs#WhoWeAre#physed
Pop & Catch! 🧠💥🏀🙌🏻🔥

Chain Reaction with 5th grade. Variation from @ckmulloy Teams start with 4 hoops on their cone. If a catch is made, move 1 hoop to another team’s cone. Game ends when a team gets rid of all of their hoops. Lots of fun! #physed
