The 1971 War Play, staged in Tamil, was a moving reminder of the sacrifices that shaped our nation. With unwavering dedication, Sabari and Ragav transformed a vision into reality, recreating history through words and emotions. The event witnessed the enthusiastic presence of school children and NCC cadets, who absorbed the spirit of patriotism. Special thanks to Shri Nalli Kuppuswamy for his generous support, and to Ratna – daughter of Brig. Gopal, whose strength and commitment were the backbone of this production. NCC Udaan was proud to honour their contributions with mementos, including a 1971 war plaque. The evening culminated in resounding chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai,’ leaving every soul stirred with pride.

Truly nostalgic it was to be back at IIT, this time as a speaker for the PG Department.

Loved the interactive session and the palpable energy in the hall, reminded me of my own student days here. Engaging with such bright young minds is always inspiring.

I also had the privilege of holding an ideation session with the faculty, adding perspectives on aligning the curriculum with the needs of tomorrow. Deep-tech and dual-use technologies are destined to shape not just the future of Indian industry, but also our national security.

Creating managers who understand technology and product development cycles TRL 1 to 9 will give the MBA programme at IIT a distinct niche and lasting impact alart from serving the growing demand for such talent.
