I’m heartbroken to see how the crown jewel of North Carolina, our beloved Queen City, has fallen because of weak leadership.

When I get to Raleigh, we will restore law and order. If Charlotte cannot provide a safe public transportation system for its citizens, the State of North Carolina will step in and ensure that riders, workers, and families are protected.

Local leaders will be given clear expectations and a deadline to properly staff, secure, and enforce the law throughout their transit system. Failure is not an option.

I’m not playing.

Time to clean this state up, starting with the great City of Charlotte.

The days of excuses are over.

The days of accountability are coming.

No I’ve posted in the past about the horrific traffic and saw this coming, I am a yankee & the Best decision I’ve ever made was relocating here 15 yrs ago from NY and we all aren’t voting like that. I’ve lived in South Charlotte for 10 years but prefer lake area, it’s an entire different lifestyle. Long Island has clusters too and yes that is a concern
