@jherr Depends on the size/complexity of the project. If it is a small sized, use context+ useState . If it becomes moderate or large then add a state manager.

@Deaniocom As a RoR dev working 15+ years in this industry I 100% agree with this. Even I get requests to maintain Rails apps with older versions of ruby now not offered with version managers like ebenv or rvm.

@BatsouElef I used gEdit for Ruby on Rails development a long ago. I think it was around 2010 or so. I loved the simplicity and the lightness of that text editor.
