lisa’s upset is a combination of carla booking separate rooms and then not telling debbie they were there as a couple - she’s pieced together in her mind that that means she’s ashamed to be seen with her when in reality it’s not that at all

I fear I will never shut up about Carla being "comfortable in her own sexuality" it's so refreshing to see a character portrayed this way. There doesn't have to be shame or embarrassment about it, this is a terrible stereotype that's shown with most queer couples!

Comfortable in her sexuality oh Kate brooks thank you for guiding her down this path. Not everyone in the world has a big coming out story or is initially uncomfortable about being gay (for example) and it's nice not to watch it happen every time for every queer character on TV.
