@bajorgensen @Nick_Dyer_ Very early not even outside beta version. Bottom line transition is somewhat similar to netapp's 7mode to cdot with difference. There are services and native processes in place to transition install base. BTW ontap is still called ontap even though there are significant changes.

@Nick_Dyer_ @bajorgensen @Chris_Mellor Yep. Re-written and 98% runs in user space. What runs is kernel space is stuff like eth driver plus some other LKM drivers which we could easily replace. Good example of re-write is IP replication which is now 5x more efficient than FC replication. Fc is also being changed.

Apparently @AmericanAir measure gas levels using a dipstick. We've changed 2 airplanes already! First was broken, second had too much gas! They told us after we boarded! Now we're looking for a plane with "less gas". In the mean time we're getting gassed from changing gates.
