@JPercyTelegraph New SD Ellis and Skubala were in the 2011 Olympic squad management team together and were at Loughborough Uni also. They've stayed close over the years.
CHAMPIONS!!! Tough league packed with great teams and today no different with @NailseaUnited taking us to the wire. Massive congratulations to coaches and players - a fantastic achievement, adding the league to two cups this season... COYSVRs!!!
@JamieBCFC98 Why do you think he's done an "amazing job at Pompey? For me, he's done a good job there. A "very good job" would be top half finish and "amazing job" would be playoffs. Have to say his Pompey teams haven't been the best when we've played them the last 2 seasons.
@BristolCityFM He actually said before the Stoke game at the end of the season, rather than end of season. He also said HC before pre season started, which surely is too late recruitment and retention wise.
@bcfcshags Gerrard is the investment gamble, so can't see that one. Not sure about Carsley as not really a proven track record in club football. Mous the obvious one as used to working with low budgets. Step forward SL "young talented manager".
@BristolCityFM@TheExiledRobin Given that when RH was appointed they said he would be utilising the Academy it's been disappointing that Naylor hasn't had an opportunity at least. Good shout on Derrick as well.Skinner & Sheppard back from Bath as well. Fingers crossed for Sat, but not holding out much hope.
@TheExiledRobin I think the new SD is most likely Ellis. If that's the case, then I can see him going after someone like Jack Wiltshire, who was highly regarded at Arsenal as a coach. A lot will depend on whether Luton make the playoffs next week then. Because that would delay it for a month.
