@hjluks I took up weights after my divorce. Four years on my muscle mass is great. I don’t do gym as much but do the garden- happy cutting down trees and growing food for the family. I’m in my fifties but I’m definitely in better shape than I was in my 30s.
@crhealy72@LuxMeaMundiAM I too have a hiatus hernia and awful reflux as a result. However my aunt had the same, had the surgery and they accidentally cut her spleen and she has been on antibiotics ever since- it’s too risky
@allfootballco It would be interesting to have a season where the use it to monitor games but not apply it and see how the table varies at the end of a season. Human nature has bias and I’m sure some teams get shafted.
@supertolerant Same. Dad was a well paid teacher and mum a civil servant. We ate out on Mother’s Day and never a takeaway. Always a home cooked meal at tea time.
@petemorristwit My dad recently passed away. After 3 hospital admissions we refused any more. We couldn’t take it. Patients were just ignored- never seen so many nurses and doctors on computers. It was insane. Dad died peacefully in his home.
@Anniepea12@petemorristwit@Louisa77591256 My dad died a fortnight ago. Four conversations where I refused midazolam. Four. In the end the doctor said we do have an alternative- we used to use it!!! I was fuming but he died peacefully with morphine.
@trwsenti @PaoloIskandar64 Son on a similar salary. Decided to rent a room in a house and save. In two years he’s managed to save £10k. Happy to sacrifice and have shared accommodation to save for a deposit. It can be done
