Numismatic traits that can be found in the numbering of the block to which the Uncommon belong
What traits does your #Uncommon Sats have?, Or maybe you've already sold some without knowing it?
(calculation performed up to block 917901, feel free to correct and/or add any info)
We owe you a clear update.
The last few days at Magisat have been bumpy, and we’re sorry for that. We recently scaled down parts of our infrastructure to reduce costs and make sure we can keep building through this bear market.
It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s the kind of work you do when you actually care about the product and the market. While others are shutting things down, we’re choosing to adapt, tighten up, and keep going.
During that process, one of our indexer servers got corrupted. Restoring and resyncing it from the latest backup took longer than expected, which is why the website felt rough for a few days.
That’s the whole story.
We’re not closing. We’re still here. We’re not giving up, and neither should you! 🫡
Rare Sats are one of the best things Ordinals has created, and that hasn’t changed one bit!
@macrojack21 How rare sats premiere the most pristine and objectively rare asset class of digital collectables in the world.
How objective rarity is spawned and hand-tailored from temporal Bitcoin events which comprise Bitcoin’s sole remarkable experience. Chronologic spatial priority aside
I would buy cheap rare sats on @Magisat_io when you still can
Magisat barely works right now
They have been heavily downgrading their marketplace, and it seems like it will be shutting down soon
@lifofifo Has said he plans on making a rare sat marketplace
Should be way better
Some platforms may have dropped support but that doesnt mean interest disappeared
While many celebrate Ordinals going away collectors miners and longterm holders are quietly accumulating rare sats behind the scenes
Infrastructure comes & goes Scarce Bitcoinnative artifacts remain
In the beginning of 2024 Binance ended support for Ordinals, and two months ago Magic Eden shutdown its Ordinal marketplace.
Now not even the Solana degen casino Phantom supports Bitcoin Ordinals, BRC-20 or “Rare Sats” anymore 😂
The world is healing ⚡️
Time-Enhancing Assets: Rare Sats as an Example
At its core, every investment comes down to a single question:
Which side is time on?
Some assets lose value as time passes. Some remain largely unchanged. And a rare few become stronger simply because time continues to pass. I classify them into three categories: time-decaying, time-neutral, and time-enhancing assets.
Stablecoins are a typical example of time-neutral assets. Holding USDC for one day or ten years makes little difference. Their value comes from utility and circulation, not from the accumulation of time. Many technology-driven companies, on the other hand, are time-decaying assets. Their competitive advantages gradually erode as rivals catch up and innovations become commoditized.
Bitcoin and Rare Sats belong to a different category altogether: time-enhancing assets.
Their greatest moat is not technology, but history. Every additional day Bitcoin operates strengthens its credibility, expands its consensus network, and deepens its irreplaceable historical record. Any competitor can copy Bitcoin’s code, but no one can replicate its seventeen years of uninterrupted existence.
Rare Sats amplify this phenomenon even further. Their rarity is rooted in the mathematical structure of the Bitcoin protocol itself, not in marketing, narratives, or human decisions. As time passes, more Rare Sats are discovered, identified, cataloged, and collected. Awareness spreads, and once someone understands the concept of protocol-level scarcity, that knowledge rarely disappears. Discovery is irreversible. Recognition is cumulative. Conviction-based holders gradually replace short-term speculators, reducing available supply and strengthening the asset's long-term foundation.
In this sense, time does not weaken Rare Sats—it continuously reinforces them.
The unique characteristic of a time-enhancing asset is that you are not merely waiting for value to emerge; you are participating in the process by which value is formed. Time itself becomes a productive force.
For such assets, time is not a cost. It is a source of compounding. It is not something consumed, but something accumulated.
Ultimately, what is truly scarce is not the asset itself, but a structure in which time consistently works in your favor.
An Uncommon sat appears every ~10 minutes.
100 Uncommons - thats around 16.67 hours of Bitcoin’s proof-of-work.
1,000 Uncommons - that's roughly 6.9 days of Bitcoin's proof-of-work, sequestered into 1,000 digital collectibles.
I feel like a Pokémon hunter 🎴 finding and capturing high-value, undervalued rare sats but with the certainty that nobody can dilute their value by printing more cards 😂
Exotic sats, rare sats, historical sats… each one feels like discovering a legendary pull in the wild.
More Pokémon cards were printed last year than there are humans on Earth, but new card releases are still plagued by scalping, in-store squabbles, and constant sell-outs. https://t.co/S7qhSMEoE3
Rodarmor Rarity through a time-based perspective:
Common sats: 2.1 quadrillion seconds, equivalent to 66.5 million years ⬜️
Uncommon sats: 6.9 million seconds, approximately 80 days 🟪
Rare sats: 3,437 seconds, around 57 minutes 🟦
Epic sats: 32 seconds, around half a minute 🟩
Current Uncommon sat supply: 951,400 seconds, equivalent to just 11 days.

@MyRaresats Canonical rare sats exist in a capacity that transcends meta protocol interpretation.
•The priority sat of block subsidy
Even “Bitcoin” is aware of its particular designation, unlike anything otherwise.
It would be remiss to not advise of the distinction (rare/exotic sats)
Their significance is not imposed onto Bitcoin —
it emerges from Bitcoin’s own temporal structure and monetary creation process.

And wrapped inside all those lost BTCs are these rare and exotic sats a true jackpot for future quantum attacks 💎🏴☠️
By the way, https://t.co/0VfV2MEDS8 excellent tool for analyzing sats within 807 BTCs. Other tools just froze up 🤯
Exactly. Rare SATS are the sovereign, highest-value assets on the blockchain.
Images can be created and inscribed infinitely ♾, but mathematical scarcity cannot be replicated. In an AI-driven world, Bitcoin and rare SATS are the only uncopiable truth 💎
@digitalkm1 There's plenty of “NodeMonke and OMB’s” out there. They print more JPEG collections every day. But an ‘09 uncommon, there's only 41 sequestered in the whole world, and that's likely all there's ever going to be. Only a dummy would give it up for something as common as money.
Imagine being able to swap your Rare Sats for Ordinals.
Imagine holding a Jan 2009 Uncommon and getting an offer to trade it for a NodeMonke, OCM, OMB, and a Puppet.
That’s the kind of market dynamic I’d love to see. New ways to price, value, and think about Bitcoin-native assets.
Another Bitcoin platform is sunsetting. The inscriptions on that chain are not.
Ordinals might be the most undervalued collectible asset class on earth. Inscribed directly on the most secure, permanent ledger ever created. No single server dependency. No marketplace required. No expiry date.
They will outlive every platform that ever held them. It's simply too early to sunset when the art is permanent.
