Every snowflake is full of math—hexagonal symmetry, fractals, self-similarity, branching, angles, probability, and growth patterns. Turns out winter was doing calculus all along ➕❄️✨

We recently hosted a Math Circle event to celebrate Fibonacci Day, and it was a tremendous success. We had an outstanding turnout from local families—about 100 students registered, and more than 300 people attended overall.

Our Math Team had a fantastic time participating in the first Wolfpack STEM Tailgate outside Carter-Finley Stadium during FanFest before the football game! 🏈🔬 Throughout the event, the team showcased the exciting academic programs our department offers.
