The National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Maj Gen AG Laka, today received Ms. Danielle Parry from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Discussions focused on the security situation in Nigeria, particularly in the North-East, including Monguno and other affected areas, as well as the humanitarian implications of insecurity and the importance of continued collaboration among stakeholders to support peace, stability, and the well-being of affected communities.

At today’s Induction/Orientation Programme for #CoE’s in #Abuja, Mr. Victor Makwe, Chairperson of the Committee of Experts of the #PSC from #Nigeria and Ms. @NeemaChusi , Head of the #PSC Secretariat, emphasized that the #CoE is the bridge between the Secretariat & Ambassadors and underscored the importance of enhancing capacity building for the #PSC Experts.
Today’s induction session focused on the #CoE’s critical role as the #PSC’s strategic anchor. When experts engages, #Africa’s peace & security architecture is strengthened.

Nigeria reaffirmed its leadership in driving intelligence sharing, regional cooperation, and bold, coordinated action against violent extremism.
