heh Scott @ScottEacott no probs; it’s that time of year #acelchat I’m sure the conversation will continue

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

it’s a quiet night folks! good to chat Amanda and ACEL #acelchat

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

leverage the differences in the class, school and community #acelchat to improve outcomes, edn is lagging on this

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

that’s why I phrased the question around how do we make a ‘return on diversity’? #acelchat

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

thanks Amanda #acelchat diversity is an area that needs attention though little research is done atm

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

#acelchat community leads into the second question well. Q2 Why is it important to change the what & how we support & teach students?

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

thanks ACEL. #acelchat be it culturally, ethnically, sexually...

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

as Hayley said, we need to value sts background, their perspective, and what they bring with them to the classroom #acelchat

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

I agree Amanda, that is what teacher ed should teach us #acelchat

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

Hayley, are you with us?

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

hi Amanda, glad you could drop in #acelchat

[kirk zwangobani @ndaba72]

ACEL perspectives #4 started the conversation well #acelchat
