The autopsy on the 19-year-old Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student was conducted on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary.

Key Details of the Incident/the Cause report and the injuries sustained match the account that he fell or was forcefully ejected from a moving public service vehicle.
His family noted substantial physical trauma around his mouth, waist, legs, and abdominal area prior to his passing.

The Circumstances:
Eugene was allegedly pushed out of a Nicco Sacco matatu along Thika Road following an altercation with the conductor over fare balance and change. He later succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical care at Kenyatta National Hospital.
