Limpopo Provincial government spokesperson, @ndavher is in conversation with @Nghamula on #CapricornTalk discussing outcomes of the media briefing held today, indicating that the province will need an estimated budget of R10 billion to repair damages caused by the #floods that hit some parts of the province.
Limpopo is emerging as one of South Africa’s fastest-growing provinces, driven by a young population, strong political will, and major investment projects. The province recorded the biggest drop in unemployment nationally from 35% to 29.8% boosted by growth in construction, trade, and services.
Following over R170 billion in pledges at the Limpopo Investment Conference, the province is advancing major projects, including the Musina-Makhado and Fetakgomo-Tubatse SEZs.
