“One unique thing about the South East: They don’t celebrate political criminals. If Obi were a bad leader, they wouldn’t trust him. Other regions should learn from them.”
— Prof. Pat Utomi
It’s been 72 hours since he dared you to bring out any evidence of corruption against him, & he will stop campaigning. You said you weren’t convinced! Now he is daring you to put forward any evidence of corruption. It’s been 5 years now. That makes him a saint among criminals.
BREAKING: Peter Obi has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resign over what he described as failures in governance, citing the resignation announcement of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer as an example of political accountability.
Owning Up to Leadership Failures and Political Responsibility
This morning, I listened to the British Prime Minister’s speech announcing his planned resignation in July. As a keen observer of global politics, my primary interest lies in examining what successful nations do right and the structural factors that cause others to lag or struggle with governance and development.
The Prime Minister’s planned resignation comes amid mounting public frustration over a stagnant economy, a worsening cost-of-living crisis, and a perceived failure to honour key campaign pledges.
Looking inward in our dear country, we can recall our own situation. Before 2015, our President on several occasions championed the call for the then President Goodluck Jonathan to resign over economic hardship and insecurity affecting Nigerians. During the Chibok school kidnapping incident, he demanded the immediate resignation of President Jonathan, arguing that the government had failed in its most fundamental duty of protecting lives.
During the 2023 election campaign, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made several promises, including improved electricity supply. He also challenged the electorate not to vote for him for a second term if he failed to deliver on those commitments—particularly in providing stable power, fighting corruption, and improving the welfare of Nigerians.
At present, however, these conditions have worsened. Electricity supply remains unreliable, insecurity has intensified in many areas, including kidnappings, and economic hardship has deepened rather than eased. Similar concerns are reflected across other critical sectors such as security, infrastructure, transportation, and anti-corruption efforts, all of which have regressed. We are in the worst possible condition.
I, therefore, join Nigerians of goodwill in calling for the resignation of the President over monumental failure in governance. Such a gesture would help enthrone a political culture rooted in accountability and responsibility, rather than further entrenching impunity. It would also send a powerful message that public office is a sacred trust, not an entitlement, and help build a society in which future leaders understand that failure carries consequences. Only by ending the culture of impunity can we secure a better future for the society our children will inherit in a New Nigeria that is possible. -PO
"In 1987, American Express introduced platinum card for 5000 people, here is mine, they later introduced the Black card (Centurion card) in 1999 for 1000 people on the planet, here is mine. I had a viable business and while I don't regret going into Politics, it made me poorer." - Peter Obi
Bro, we still don’t know who Peter Obi is Walai. Kai 😳
It's not difficult to even know what this Olodo is doing.
I just hope the money they paid him is enough to resurrect his finished career and stop Efcc from breaking into his house at 3am with his wife naked and his baby sleeping.
Mumu think say him fit disguise lmao

A young person @youngskales living in Nigeria needs to be convinced, that Bola Tinubu has failed, and that Peter Obi is our only channel to a better Nigeria? 😂💔
I'll rather have a conversation with a Cow than waste my time convincing you!
Aside the fact they regurgitate what has been there for ages, dispense stale knowledge, they’re highly unproductive and corrupt, they colluded with the evil politicians to keep Nigerians poor. A day of reckoning is coming
Professors in Nigeria are not good examples to imitate. They are election riggers, Political jobbers that have singlehandedly contributed in destroying Nigeria since 1999 till date.
In other climes professors are well respected for making lives better for fellow citizens through their knowledge and skills. They are symbols of academic excellence, role models, upright in character and incorruptible.
But in Nigeria, our professors are tools in the hands of politicians and politcal paries. Agberos for election rigging. Gluttonous corrupt entities without shame.
You complain endlessly about how bad the country is, but when it’s time to choose a candidate, you suddenly become a coward. Meanwhile, people in your communities are being slaughtered in large numbers. Typical cornfused clown.
Your posture says otherwise. You claim all the politicians are the same, also said you are not voting. Those are enough to show us who you really are. You can close the book, a day of reckoning will come, dvmb Skale
Nobody paid me as a matter of fact I’m staying as far away as I can from politics but I am a Nigerian citizen … I do not support none of this political parties cos they have all failed Nigeria … we need something fresh
Such a disgusting person. After demoralizing the people you want to spin this. You’d be remembered someday how you sided with the oppressors. Learn to close your dvmb mouth up next time rather than spewing trash.
