Dog lovers won't feel this anxiety and pain because -
> either they don't have children
> or they treat dogs like their children and their children like dogs
10 Indians lost their lives due to contaminated water in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. And the minister for urban development and housing says "Ghanta" to the journalist. #HappyNewYear India. In any civilized country the top leaders would tender their resignation but Kailash Vijayvargiya ji will continue to thrive!
#HappyNewYear! Also great journalism @ndtv@ndtvindia@Anurag_Dwary@rahulkanwal
Finally a MP @raghav_chadha is bringing our points to the House.
My suggestions to FM Madam @nsitharaman ji
- Tax Consumption (already done with GST)
- Keep STT as it is. Rework on STCG and LTCG to avoid double taxation.
- Incentivise Investors with ZERO LTCG if equity investment held over 2 years. This needs to be seriously considered.
- Fix LTCG at 10% if less than 2 years and STCG at 15%.
- If above is done, indexation is not needed.
Hope Indian Investors will be Incentivised for Long Term Investing.
On behalf of millions of Investors,

A college student was heading to her college when four stray dogs suddenly attacked her & severely injured her at around 6:30 AM in Indore.
Indore has witnessed 24,000 dog bite cases in first six months of 2025.
There is possibility the numbers will cross 50,000 cases by the end of the year.
Indore is known as India's cleanest city. Soon, it will be known as 'City of Dogbites' too if authorities keep working hard like this.
Is this true? Dogs have no place in the streets. They need to be relocated to shelters, where they can be fed, vaccinated & sterilised. Feeding & keeping them in a free roaming state in the streets is a huge health & safety hazard.
Local Authorities don’t have the wherewithal to deal with the #StreetDogs issue, State Governments allot meagre funds, if at all any, Central Government washes its hands off saying it’s not their responsibility. We have the highest rates of Rabies deaths in the world. The Animal Birth Control (ABC) protocol is an utter failure. I have raised this issue ad nauseam. Spoken in Parliament, met the @PMOIndia, written to the Health Ministry, @CMOTamilnadu etc. Nothing tangible or impactful is happening.
Unfortunately there is no serious effort by anyone in executive authority to deal with this health & safety crisis. I have raised this issue ad nauseam.

@farzibanarasi@x_rahulraj Remove Hindi in banking exams or introduce regional language. If the ‘outsiders’ were immensely talented why do they not have/create jobs in their local place? Check how many banks were founded in Karnataka? There was a bank for every 500 people. Did outsiders improve it?

Staff Nurse Brinda informed me about an alarming statistic during my visit to the Neduvasal PHC, Alangudi Assembly, Pudukkottai Dist. Sivaganga Constituency. An average of one case of dog bite per day is treated in this PHC alone. It’s a national crisis @PMOIndia
Well done, @KartiPC ! It’s a serious problem, made worse by the nationwide failure to implement the ABC programme conscientiously. Starved of both staff and resources, most municipalities neglect their duty to capture and sterilise these strays, leaving them to be a menace on the streets. An effective, well-funded and humane solution must be found.
Met the Hon'ble Prime Minister today in his Parliament House office to bring to his notice the growing health & safety concerns posed by stray dogs. India is home to one of the largest stray dog populations globally, with over 6.2 crore stray dogs.
India is also endemic for rabies, responsible for 36% of the world’s rabies-related deaths. Despite the introduction of the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, 2023, the implementation has been ineffective.
I raised concerns about the inadequacy of the current system, where local bodies lack the resources, funding, and technology to tackle this issue effectively. It’s clear that urgent action is required.
I suggested establishing a National Task Force to provide a holistic, humane, and scientific solution while working closely with local bodies. Additionally, dedicated shelter houses and a long-term plan must be in place to address this challenge.
