Over 10–11 December, my colleagues and I from The Gambia joined the United Nations and civil society organizations from around the world at the third annual UN–CSO Dialogue on Peacebuilding, held to advance inclusive, people-centered peace.
Key point:
✨ Strengthening partnerships between the UN and local civil society actors for more inclusive peace processes✨ Ensuring (WPS) and (YPS) perspectives are integrated into peacebuilding strategies✨ sustainable and flexible financing for grassroots peace initiatives
Under the theme “Operationalizing a Whole-of-System Approach to Peacebuilding and Sustaining Peace,”over 200 peacebuilders, women’s and youth networks, community leaders, specialists, and human rights advocates exchanged perspectives on priorities for peace, resilience,

The Chairperson of @Int_IDEA at the closing dinner reaffirmed thier commitment to promoting youth and women political participation and as well recognize the work of advocates and activist in the global south. Thank you Gambia office with the Leadership of @JainabaFaye .
On a similar note, as part of a hight level delegation from the Global South ,we concluded the celebration of @Int_IDEA@30 anniversary In @Pretoria .Not only a celebrating but also reimagining democracy, especially in the global south.
