@AngeJayne77 I am so sorry to read this…
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him; may his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace x
@AngeJayne77 there is some wonderful scenery along the Cleveland Way and the weather is set fair; welcome to North Yorkshire x
(I’m doing a bit of it on Thursday!)
@AngeJayne77 I have almost 500 feet of elevation within just 3km in my 10km road race on Saturday, made worse by starting at an altitude of 4,500 feet and climbing to almost 5,000 feet above sea level 😅 (Melissa’s Road Race in Banff 🇨🇦)
@AngeJayne77 My running has been in the doldrums since the London Marathon.
Although there were positives on the day, the run took so much out of me that I have lost my appetite for races and my parkrun times have plummeted. If you find the solution, please share…
@AngeJayne77 Angela ~ you have done amazing!
I was in awe of your training and those were tough conditions in the heat yesterday.
If my legs work, then I am going for a spin on the London Eye (wearing my medal, of course) before heading to the cooler climes of the north… x
Thank you ever so much to everyone who has so generously donated as I prepare to run the @LondonMarathon.
I am raising money for @macmillancancer; for an update and bib number reveal, please visit https://t.co/TBFM9SOwgF. If you can spare some 💴, it will be put to fantastic use.
@AngeJayne77 I also have a 20 mile race on Sunday as part of my training for the @LondonMarathon, but I am struggling to cope with an increase in distance ☹️
Good luck with your run; your training is going really well…
Just before Christmas my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Massive thanks to the @NHSuk and @macmillancancer for their invaluable help and support; this is what I am doing to help and support them...

@AngeJayne77 I would love sub 3:45 too!
I have completed 5/6 of the WMM and Boston is the only one that remains for my six star. My GFA qualification time is 3:50. My best ever marathon time is 3:56 in Tokyo last year. Six minutes + to lose… 🤞🏻
@parkrunUK The London Olympics 2012.
I used to go spinning every Saturday morning and the instructor described to me the concept of @parkrunUK. Inspired by @TeamGB on the track, I agreed to give it a go for one week only; 502 parkruns and 90 volunteers later… (not been spinning since!) 😯
8 days before hitting 60 and in perfect running conditions, I thought that today was probably the day to post a #GreatNorthRun pb…
I first ran this race in 1986 and this is the first time that I have run sub 1 hour 50 in the GNR… 🎉

@Hplayspiano I would heartily recommend a local parkrun. It’s free, it’s 5km, and they all have a great community spirit.
Wherever you live, there will be one near you…
Ah me lads, ye shudda seen us gannin',
We pass'd the foaks alang the road just as they wor stannin';
Thor wis lots o' lads an' lassies there, aal wi' smiling faces,
Gannin' alang the Scotswood Road, to see the Blaydon Races.
Not as flat as I was told; 44 minutes exactly…
