The coalition/throupolition would need to win 20 seats at the next election to be competitive, 28 to take government.
Why is anyone pretending this leadership change will change anything?
ABC #Insiders hit job on Jim Chalmers won’t work. They can’t paint over his strong record in smashing down LNP Debt. We know inflation was 6.1% & rising when he took office.
He never promised surpluses but has already achieved 2. LNP promised surplus after surplus & achieved 0.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES: ICE agents in Maine just photographed a civilian’s face and name and said they’re putting it in a database.
When the woman asked why, the agent’s response was basically: “Now you’re considered a domestic terrorist.”
This is intimidation. Not law enforcement.
@Peter_Fitz Very difficult for ON to win any seats…even if in the seats where they may get 20-30% primaries the capacity to gain enough preferences to win is doubtful unless Nats were to preference them in front of any others.
If One Nation are polling 20% in nationwide polls, there will be National held seats where One Nation are reaching 40%. It’s Queensland 1998 all over again where One Nation passed 30% in 27 of 29 National seats.
