📅 On this day in 1881, Andrew Watson made history, becoming the first black player to play international association football, captaining Scotland to a 6-1 victory against England.
Archie Gemmill - 43 caps for Scotland, 8 goals, 1971-1981. Gemmill scored the third Scotland goal in a 3-2 win against the Netherlands at the 1978 FIFA World Cup (pictured). It is regularly cited as one of the greatest goals in the history of the World Cup.
