A friend who himself is an IT graduate contends that we don't need traditional libraries in this era of information technology. He tries to make a point that given e-libraries which can be accessed virtually, there is no need of such traditional libraries.

An InDrive captain, who had picked me up from The University Club, just dropped me off at my destination. As we parted, he casually asked,
"What do you do, brother?"

"I’m a student of law," I replied.

"At the university?" he asked, visibly surprised.

I nodded in affirmation.

"But you don’t look like a university student."

"Like how?" I asked with amusement, considering that I had earned my university degree long ago.

"You’re too young to be a university student. From the way you look, you seem more like a college student," he concluded.

Considering the recent episodes at Islamabad High Court, it appears as though the judiciary itself is on trial-- a trial to which I hope to see a logical conclusion very soon.
