Alessandro is an Italian artist of Venezuelan origins born in Caracas and raised in Abruzzo, Italy. His work ranges from photography to oil pastel on paper to acrylic paintings on canvas, stone
sculptures and ceramic works. And in each of these areas he has excelled, as we will reveal over the next few days.

Who wants to know more about our next NDM artist?

Alessandro Casagrande grew up in Pescara, Italy, and then moved in his twenties to Milan where he worked and gained fame as a photographer shooting editorials for international publications such as Purple Magazine, Le Petit Voyeur, P Magazine, Vogue Italia and many others. Later on he moved to Los Angeles where he worked as photographer on commissioned and personal projects meanwhile publishing three books. Later on he focused on the creation of oil pastels paintings on paper. After moving back to Italy he created a series of 28 artworks, which were showed in a personal exhibition entitled Lilac hosted by the art gallery Galera San Soda in Milan. During the 2022 Milan Design Week, Alessandro collaborated with the historic fashion brand Tivioli by creating an installation withnew paintings inside the Tivioli shop in via Santo Spirito 24 in Milan.
Right now Alessandro is preparing a new exhibition…but we can’t reveal everything.
