We are hosting the meeting of the @UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Advisory Bodies - #ICCROM, #IUCN, and @ICOMOS, to discuss our work in the framework of the #WorldHeritage Convention, from state of conservation reporting to nomination processes and our work on #ClimateAction, Priority Africa and capacity building for #WorldHeritage.
This is an essential meeting to coordinate our work and strengthen our collaborations to support the implementation of the #WorldHeritageConvention worldwide.
I was honoured to visit #Herculaneum Archaeological Park with/ @USUNRomeAmb Prescott, Francesco Sirano, Park Director and Jane Thompson of the Herculaneum Conservation Project.
The site is an example of conservation and management, where the community is at the heart.
