@FortniteGame Very keen to see a native Linux version of Fortnite, or enabling EAC in a compatibility layer like Proton. Fortnite runs fine on my Linux-only gaming machine, I just get booted before matches start due to EAC.

@PlayApex would love to play Apex! But my gaming rig runs Linux. Please support Linux native gaming! And/or, it seems the only blocker to running this on Proton right now is Easy Anti Cheat, perhaps push EAC to support Proton. Thanks

@tekwendell an older video about a nas setup mentions a process for keeping a Windows vm on constantly updating and periodically imaging it so you have a fresh updated driverless image at all times. Did L1T ever do a video or post on that process, or can you point me where? Tx!!

@Joshisforreal @freenas you do need a pretty damn fast pool to saturate a 40gbit uplink though, ha. what is your setup? i'm keen to know ur config more in fact. 40gb is still a tad rarefied afaik

@DoolztheDaring i'm curious in what way are you combining the two, and why? u might consider also looking into proxmox + freenas; proxmox provides native support for zfs, this is what i use in my home lab and i like it a lot. there's also bhyve but i've really not used it
