Today, our team (along with other election offices across Virginia) is conducting a risk audit of the Nov. 5 Senate contest.
Randomly selected ballots are being checked to confirm that the electronic voting system accurately reported the outcome of the election.
The election results from the 2024 General Election have been officially certified by the Loudoun County Electoral Board. Stay tuned for additional information on the upcoming Special Election in January. #LoudounVotes

The PWC Electoral Board has verified all election results for Prince William County. Town contests are now certified. The certification of all federal contests rests with the state pending the completion of a risk-limiting audit next week.

Though Election Day was more than a week ago, staff remains hard at work processing votes for the final tallies. Today, 16,009 ballots were scanned and counted after these ballots were accepted by the Electoral Board.

Today begins our Provisional Adjudication Meeting. The PWC Electoral Board will review nearly 8,000 provisional ballots to determine which are qualified to be counted in this election. Approved ballots will be scanned and counted. Results will be reported after the meeting ends.
