This September, the Cockroach Janta Party begins its ‘Kya Bolti Public’ listening tour. We are taking this movement to the grassroots to listen. We want to hear the aspirations, anxieties, and ideas of India’s young generation and the together work towards building a brighter future.

Education reform and unemployment remain at the very top of our priorities. We will also relentlessly push for institutional accountability because a democracy cannot function when institutions stop being accountable for their (in)actions. A big question mark surrounds the integrity of the Election Commission, the judiciary, and the media. The three’s accountability MUST be restored.

We also seek to bring together the countless movements, organisations, and citizens already fighting for justice on different fronts. No single organisation can transform a nation alone. Our greatest strength lies in unity.

Many of you have asked us to become a political party. We are deeply grateful for that faith. But at this moment, our energy is better spent where change truly begins: among the people! Existing parties are being broken up using money, ED, CBI, etc. Those in government are also now deciding who can vote and who can’t. They are choosing which elected MP will be in which party. So our immediate mission is grassroots mobilisation, democratic reforms, and mass public awakening.

For now, we remain a people’s pressure group. And we are only getting started.

What happens when the monsoon is delayed, but the seeds are already waiting underground? With #SeedPelletisation and #PMDS, #NaturalFarming is turning climate uncertainty into confidence. Farmer Jayaram Reddy from Chakrapalli village, Nandyal district, has witnessed this transformation firsthand. "In the pelletised PMDS plot, nearly 90% of the seeds germinated, while the non pelletised plot achieved only 60–70%. The pelletised crop remained greener, stronger, and tolerated water stress much better," he says. "The PMDS biomass improves soil fertility and supports better groundnut yields, while the fodder keeps our livestock healthier, increases milk production by about two litres a day, and improves milk quality. PMDS with Seed Pelletisation is a blessing for Natural Farming, and I encourage every farmer to adopt it."

The public cannot stand at the bus stand built with public taxes, because VIP protocol comes first.

This scene in Jaipur is absolutely shameful, as the protectors of the public are chasing away pedestrians and bikers who are standing under the tin shed of the bus stand to escape the heavy rain.

Is VIP protocol more important than humanity?
Or does the common man not have the right to seek shelter at the bus stand?

I finally got to speak in the LokSabha on the Paper Leaks Amendment Bill at 10:40 pm. I dramatically abbreviated my arguments for lack of time, but made a few crucial points in the nine minutes I was given, punctuated by the Chair ringing the bell repeatedly and even switching off my mike at the end.

But my core message was simple: the Bill increases punishment for those who sell our children’s dreams, but what we need is to fix the system so that the crime doesn’t occur in the first place. I gave a number of suggestions to that end.

I repeated the message to the media outside, since the chamber was largely empty at this late hour.
