As a Gunner, last night in Budapest stung. PSG lifted the trophy with a 2-1 victory, claiming back-to-back Champions League titles.
But even in defeat, this Arsenal team made us proud.
We arrived at our first final in 20 years unbeaten throughout the entire campaign a remarkable achievement that silenced many doubters.
The boys gave everything against a clinical PSG side. Luis Enrique’s team showed why they are the best in Europe right now, with Kvaratskhelia and Dembélé causing constant danger on the wings. Their quality and experience ultimately proved decisive.
Yet Arsenal pushed them all the way. We saw the intensity, tactical organisation, and beautiful football that has defined Mikel Arteta’s project. This wasn’t a team that froze on the big stage, we belonged there. The character shown in defeat tells me we are closing the gap on Europe’s elite.
To my fellow Gooners: hold your heads high. We didn’t just reach the final; we announced ourselves as serious contenders again. The future under Arteta is brighter than it has been in decades. This campaign was proof.

Congratulations to PSG 🎉 worthy champions. For Arsenal, this is not the end. It’s the beginning of something special.
